Eutopia · Partner with us

A methodological partner
for European projects.

Eutopia is a cultural R&D lab based in Marche Region (Italy). In EU funded consortia we build and run knowledge translation methodologies, participatory methods and pilot actions. Three Creative Europe projects delivered or running. Available for Horizon Europe consortia.

What we do in a consortium

Four roles, tested in the field.

We cover the work packages where the project meets its public: participation, engagement, knowledge transfer, dissemination. For each we bring a methodology tested across countries, released as open source, with documented results.

01

Knowledge translation methodologies

Our core work: methodologies that move specialist knowledge (research results, heritage, accessibility expertise) into use by concrete publics. Built on three pillars (domain truth, narrative translation, user experience), validated through real production with multi-country partners, released with their limits declared.

02

Knowledge transfer and capacity building

The HOP Methodology translates specialist knowledge (cultural heritage, archives, research) into products that reach people who did not know they wanted them. Canvas tools released under CC BY-SA 4.0, practical guides, workshops for museums, archives, municipalities and cultural networks.

03

Pilots and citizen engagement

We build and run pilot actions with the people the project is for: activists, municipalities, local communities, theatres, museum audiences. Currently piloting environmental education and civic participation on 40 historic sites in four countries.

04

Dissemination and exploitation

Podcasts, open source methodologies, downloadable canvases, training formats. Outputs designed to outlive the project and to be picked up and reused by other organisations, with the attribution trail to show it.

Horizon Europe

What we bring to a Horizon consortium.

Our field is knowledge translation: the discipline that Horizon proposals file under public engagement, science communication, co-creation and knowledge brokering. In a Horizon Europe consortium (Cluster 2 · Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society, or SSH integration in any cluster) Eutopia covers the work packages where research meets people: participatory pilots, stakeholder and citizen engagement, dissemination and exploitation, training. The tasks that turn an impact section into measurable results.

The approach is documented: our working paper Eutopians in the Middle (2026) describes the construction method behind our three methodologies, validated through real production with partners in nine countries and released under CC BY-SA 4.0. As a small, agile non profit we also strengthen the consortium’s balance: third sector, Southern Europe, direct access to local communities, lean administration.

When to write us

Four situations where we fit.

You are building a Horizon Europe proposal
Cluster 2 or SSH integration elsewhere, and you need a partner for co-creation, participatory pilots, engagement or dissemination, with methods already tested across borders.
You coordinate a Creative Europe application
And you are looking for an Italian partner with a verifiable delivery record on cooperation projects, methodological outputs included.
You need participation that ends in decisions
Focus groups, Ideathons, canvas sprints, production workshops: for us these are tools, chosen after the domain and the public are defined, and structured so that each session closes with operational, feasibility checked outputs.
You have knowledge that needs to travel
Research results, an archive, a heritage site, a practice that works locally. You need a partner whose job is building the bridge between the people who produce knowledge and the people who should use it.

Between the people who produce knowledge
and the people who need it,
we build the passage.
